     Wait for it...Wait for it...Wait for it...Weight! A lifelong preoccupation that was taken to another level with the onset of menopause. In addition to the rolls of fat growing on my back, I had to deal with snoring, acid reflux, a higher risk of heart disease and a grueling, age-aggravated recovery from a rotator cuff tear. My overall healing time from sprains and strains have definitely become longer.

I'd like to say regarding menopause, "They told me about the birds and the bees, BUT they didn't tell me about this." Bones, skin and sexual health are only a few of the systems affected by the onslaught of time. This blog is dedicated to all of us going through "the change". I look forward to future musings.
